Happy New Month!!!
We are already half way into the year people! Damn….time is really flying by. I hope you enjoyed the midweek holiday.
Today I am running the 2nd last outfit in the #ripped series which I am hoping is really informative on just showing you how versatile one piece of clothing can be and that no matter what your style or personality you can always find your way around incorporating a trend you love into your closet whether it is by toning it down or jazzing it up.
Here I was going for a casual look…a bold casual look. I figured pairing it with just a turtle neck is conventional so why not just incorporate my black chiffon throw also seen HERE and add a bold piece of accessory? And voila! This was the result.
Let me just take a minute to just appreciate the art in the background by Eljay Art. If you have not been to the railway museum you need to plan a trip there ASAP to soak in all the art and history hidden in that place. The compound is also home to Dust Depot Art Studio which is an incredible incubation space for both growing and seasoned artists.I sincerely thank them for allowing me to showcase their work on the blog.
Coincidentally the gorgeous neckpiece gifted to me by a dear friend was made by a fantastic artist Evans who frequents the place too. He is really passionate about creating art from recycled items. Check out his cool pieces HERE .
Wow so this post turned out to be longer than I anticipated but I’d love to know do you dig this look? Let’s hang out in the comment section below .
